Job Title: Market Access Strategist

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical sector and be able to develop and implement comprehensive market access strategies. This role demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Health Economics to drive business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement market access strategies to ensure optimal product pricing, reimbursement, and patient access in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Conduct rigorous market research and health economics analysis to identify market access barriers, pricing trends, and payer requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR), Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Regulatory teams to generate robust evidence supporting product value.
  • Negotiate reimbursement strategies, pricing, and access conditions with payers, government bodies, and healthcare authorities.
  • Prepare and submit reimbursement dossiers, value dossiers, pricing applications, and HTA submissions to support product access.
  • Maintain a keen eye on policy developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to proactively adapt access strategies.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support product launch planning and lifecycle management.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including payers, KOLs, industry bodies, and internal teams.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of market access professionals, ensuring high performance and knowledge development.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Postgraduate degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing & Reimbursement, or related function within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare systems, pricing & reimbursement pathways, HTA processes, and payer dynamics.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing market access strategies, preparing reimbursement dossiers, and engaging with payers.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
