Identity and Access Management Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Identity and Access Management specialist to assume responsibility for our Okta Identity Cloud platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated professional who can ensure seamless security, compliance, and efficiency across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and Maintain the Okta Platform: Ensure single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and directory integrations are properly configured and maintained.
  • Implement Identity Lifecycle Processes: Develop and implement identity lifecycle processes, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
  • Integrate Applications into Okta: Successfully integrate new applications into Okta using SAML, OIDC, and SCIM protocols.
  • Monitor and Manage Okta Workflows: Regularly monitor and manage Okta workflows, policies, and logs to guarantee compliance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot Authentication Issues: Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and user provisioning issues across various integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with IT Teams: Collaborate closely with IT, Security, and HR teams to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain Documentation: Ensure that accurate documentation is maintained for Okta configurations, integrations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay updated on IAM industry trends and Okta platform updates, recommending improvements as necessary.
  • Support Compliance Efforts: Participate in security audits and support compliance efforts, such as SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
  • Okta Administration: 4+ years of hands-on experience administering Okta Identity Cloud.
  • Proficiency: Proficiency with SAML, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, and Active Directory.
  • Automation Skills: Experience with Okta Workflows, API integrations, and automation.
  • Security Frameworks: Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
