Procurement and Logistics Director

This strategic leadership role involves leading, managing, and overseeing procurement, shipping, and logistics operations. Key responsibilities include team leadership, international trade processes, tactical procurement, vendor management, order processing, contract management, inventory management, and end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes in SAP MM.

Key qualifications for this role include 10–15 years of experience in procurement and logistics, with expertise in SAP MM, import/export operations, shipment documentation, and complex supply chains. Additionally, successful candidates will possess strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder management expertise.

  • Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing team, mentor, and coach for performance excellence.
  • Shipping & Logistics: Oversee international trade processes, manage shipment tracking, transportation, and reporting.
  • Procurement Operations: Manage tactical procurement, oversee vendor management, order processing, contract management, inventory management, and end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes in SAP MM.
  • Vendor Management: Manage the entire vendor lifecycle, including benchmarking, onboarding, audits, performance evaluation, and supplier relationship management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 10-15 years in procurement and logistics, preferably in food and agribusiness or related industries.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP MM, import/export operations, shipment documentation, vendor coordination, and complex supply chains.
  • Skills: Strategic thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, people development, and effective communication.
