Job Role:
Premier Energies Limited is seeking a bright, motivated candidate to join its Procurement team as an Associate Manager/Manager – Procurement.
- Receiving Bills of Material from the Design Department and seeking quotations from all vendors.
- Preparing comparative quotations and putting them up to management for decision.
- Ensuring timeliness of material delivery by regular follow-up with vendors.
- Follow-up with vendors for invoices.
- Entry of invoices into SAP.
- Maintaining a database of vendors.
- Supporting Tender/BD team in costing of upcoming projects/Tenders.
- Working out various project requirements with respect to utilities, procurement activities, and monitoring overall operations (Procurement & Logistics) for ensuring timely completion.
Qualifications:
- A Graduate, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 7 to 10 years of experience in Procurement.
- Good Negotiations and Analytical skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office, SAP & Analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, architects, and contractors.
- Monitor expenses and optimize resource utilization.
- Provide management reports and key performance data.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in relevant field with 7-10 years of experience in Procurement.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Analytics.
