Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer

As a Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our cloud-based systems. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure support, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform will be instrumental in driving our cloud strategy forward.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud infrastructure support, with a proven track record of deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures. Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet/Chef, and a solid understanding of security best practices are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Cloud Architectures: Translate application requirements into cloud architecture/infrastructure, leveraging your expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Deploy and Manage Cloud Resources: Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Configuration Management: Utilize configuration management tools to automate the deployment and management of cloud resources, maintaining consistency and efficiency.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the secure deployment and operation of cloud resources, adhering to industry-leading security best practices and compliance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer who possesses the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency with public cloud core infrastructure services for AWS, Microsoft Azure Services, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong notions of security best practices (e.g., using IAM Policies & Roles, SSL, KMS, etc.).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet/Chef).
  • Unix/Linux, Windows basic administration.
  • Hands-on knowledge on Service Now, Incident Management, Change Management, and other ITIL processes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate IT concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Practical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
