Job Overview:

We're seeking a cybersecurity professional to fill the role of Cyber Security Operations Specialist. As an expert in Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, you will design, develop, and maintain playbooks and automation workflows to enhance our security operations.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop custom integrations using Python to boost security efficiency.


• Collaborate with SOC, SIEM, and endpoint teams to translate requirements into automated solutions that streamline security processes.


• Optimize and automate security procedures to minimize risk.


• Provide support in deploying, testing, and troubleshooting automation workflows to ensure seamless integration.


• Continuously explore new endpoint protection techniques and integrate them into automation where relevant to stay ahead of emerging threats.


• Document automation workflows, custom scripts, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• Proven experience with Cortex XSOAR or similar SOAR platforms to drive efficient incident response.


• Strong programming skills in Python for creating scripts and integrations to enhance security capabilities.


• Experience in building and maintaining custom integrations to optimize security operations.


• Enthusiasm about learning and applying endpoint protection concepts and technologies to stay up-to-date with industry developments.


• Good understanding of SIEM concepts (log sources, use cases, correlation rules) to analyze and respond to potential threats.


• Familiarity with security operations processes (incident response, alert triage, enrichment, remediation) to ensure timely and effective response.

Preferred:


• Previous experience working with SIEM platforms (XSIAM, QRadar, Splunk, etc.) to leverage their full potential.


• Knowledge of APIs, REST, and JSON for integration development to facilitate seamless data exchange.


• Exposure to security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, etc.) to inform threat analysis and mitigation strategies.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to resolve complex security issues efficiently.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to foster cross-functional teamwork and information sharing.


• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment that demands flexibility and resilience.
