Senior Cybersecurity Analyst Role

The primary objective of this position is to provide expert-level support in analyzing and mitigating cybersecurity threats within the organization.

This role involves conducting thorough incident validation, analysis, and solution recommendation, as well as resolving escalations and performing vulnerability assessments. It also entails maintaining tool administration, knowledge base management, escalation points for device issue resolution, patch implementation, rule base management, general SOC administration, optimization, scaling, and data retrieval.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in computer science or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as CEH/CCNA Security. Proficiency in SIEM tools like RSA Netwitness, WAF, PAM, ANTI-APT, NBAD, and Deception is essential.

Key responsibilities include working in a 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) environment, providing analysis and trending of security log data from multiple heterogeneous security devices, threat and vulnerability analysis, and security advisory services. The candidate must also possess administration skills in SIEM and other security solutions, including creation of rules and dashboards in the SIEM platform.

  • Academic background: Engineer (BE/B.Tech)/MCA/M. Tech/M. E./PhD in Computers/IT/Electronics
  • Certifications: CEH/CCNA Security and any SIEM technical certification
  • Tool Knowledge: SIEM(RSA Netwitness), WAF, PAM ANTI-APT, NBAD, Deception
