Job Description

The Director of Planning & Strategy plays a pivotal role in crafting innovative marketing campaigns for clients by leveraging social platforms as either broadcast media or narrowcast, with a focus on designing captivating experiences through insights, technologies, and expertise.

This role requires collaboration with the client servicing team to continually improve strategy direction, recommended programs, and tactics. The candidate will work closely with this team to refine thinking and ensure that strategies are tailored to meet client needs.

  • Develop a deep understanding of Category, Competition, Consumer, Culture & Brand to generate unique, differentiated insights.
  • Create an integrated campaign strategy platform that serves as an ideal springboard for the creative team.
  • Prepare and present visual presentations with a sharp point of view and riveting narrative.
  • Translate business objectives into social/digital media objectives enriched by proprietary benchmarks.
  • Analyze available insights to define overall strategy in terms of distribution and amplification.
  • Define the right advertising pressure to achieve goals considering objectives, challenges & limitations.
  • Participate actively in new business pitches as required.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Postgraduate degree with around 7 years of experience in brand planning, social/digital campaign management, digital creative strategy.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect business requirements to strategy solutions.
  • Research and data analytical skills with the ability to generate data-based insights.
  • Passionate about fast-evolving social/digital media environment with a strong point of view.
  • Eye for innovation and emerging platforms or partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills.
