Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to lead our data platform design, deployment, and maintenance efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic plans to enhance our organization's data capabilities and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive data architecture designs that align with business goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data platforms and ensure scalability and reliability
  • Analyze existing data collection systems and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Supervise junior data engineering teams to ensure they carry out their duties in line with business goals
  • Design, deploy, and maintain the organization's data platforms, including data warehousing and big data technologies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. They should also have a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and experience working with data warehouse solutions like Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery. Additionally, proficiency in Python and advanced SQL is required, along with familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark. Experience in managing and optimizing relational databases and NoSQL databases is also essential.
