- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing scalable data platforms, with expertise in big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop.
- Design and implement data pipelines using Spark and Kafka to process large datasets.
- Develop and maintain a highly available and scalable data architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data platforms into our products.
- Drive technology explorations and roadmaps to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on advanced technical topics.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 8+ years of total experience in software development.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in design and architecture of big data solutions using Spark.
- 3+ years experience in working with engineering resources for innovation.
- Experience with Agile Management (SCRUM, RUP, XP), OO Modeling, working on internet, UNIX, Middleware, and database related projects.
