Senior Technical Leader

This role involves working as a tech innovator who can prototype and build solutions before delivering results. The primary focus is on solving complex technical problems.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing AI services, including prompt orchestration, retrieval, tool/function calling, streaming UX, with evaluation and guardrails.
  • Building high-throughput content processing pipelines, storage, and delivery with strong observability and cost control.
  • Implementing identity, privacy, and trust features, including consent-driven flows, signed links/tokens, rate-limits, audit trails, and abuse prevention.
  • Ingesting and normalizing external data, modeling entities/relationships, and exposing a clean query layer for apps and partners.
  • Shipping crisp, modern UIs and APIs for internal/external stakeholders, with performance and reliability budgets.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:

  • 6-10+ years of experience building production systems as the primary architect.
  • Evidence of turning ambiguous product problems into working software in days, not quarters.
  • Hands-on gen-AI experience with real users, including lessons from failures.
  • Strong systems thinking, including data models, consistency trade-offs, perf budgets, failure handling.
  • Security and privacy instincts, including PII handling, consent, audit trails, regulatory awareness.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including crisp docs, READMEs, runbooks.

Career Path and Title

The candidate will start as Senior Technical Leader. As the company scales, they can choose to either:

  • Maximize technical leverage through the Principal/Distinguished Technical Lead track.
  • Choose the Chief Technology Officer/VP Engineering path once a team exists and needs management.
