Principal Data Engineer

As a Senior Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of senior engineers and proposing architecture for complex data systems.

  5. Proficiency in an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool like Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development and data engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience leading a team.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Python, JVM, and Shell Scripting.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in building cloud-native data-intensive applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience in Databricks and dbt is required.
  • Highly proficient in architecting and implementing workflow management systems using Airflow.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience in building and maintaining Spark applications.
