Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee our Accounts Payable processes and manage a team of invoice processors.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. They will be responsible for monitoring workflow, ensuring efficient processing, and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and distribute daily tasks among team members.
  • Manage a team of invoice processors ensuring efficient processing.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Turnaround Times (TATs), and KPIs are met.
  • Handle exceptions and resolve escalations in a timely manner.
  • Act as the first point of contact for issue resolution, escalating critical issues to management or stakeholders when necessary.
  • Oversee all Accounts Payable processes to ensure compliance with internal control and audit requirements.
  • Assist in internal/external audits with necessary documentation.
  • Monitor performance and motivate team members to enhance engagement.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements to increase accuracy and speed.
  • Drive automation initiatives to streamline operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience with team handling responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Master's in Commerce or MBA preferred).
