Network Engineer Role
Job Overview: This position involves providing technical support for networking infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and troubleshooting network issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with network setup, maintenance, and repair.
- Implement and troubleshoot WAN and LAN connectivity.
- Manage routers, firewalls, wireless networks, and security systems.
- Develop and maintain remote access solutions.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve client issues.
- Provide IT support for Microsoft applications and operating systems.
- Maintain accurate records of service tickets and system configurations.
- Communicate with clients regarding ticket progress and changes.
- Evaluate and escalate service requests as needed.
- Promote Company best practices through teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Utilize central management tools to resolve customer issues efficiently.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a network engineer, including phone, remote support, and hands-on work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
- Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with router, switch, VPN, and firewall configurations (Cisco, Sophos, Palo Alto).
