Job Title: Cyber Network Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Network Architect to design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance network infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain complex network systems ensuring optimal performance, high availability, and security.
  • Respond promptly to network-related incidents, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime and service disruption.
  • Configure and manage network devices including Cisco routers, switches, F5 load balancers, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, processes, and procedures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support overall infrastructure and ensure seamless operations.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, firmware updates, and patches to ensure systems are secure, stable, and up to date.
  • Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify issues and generate performance reports.
  • Ensure network operations comply with industry standards and organizational policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud Networking: Experience with cloud networking solutions and SDN technologies such as Cisco ACI.
  • Firewall Management: Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and implementing security policies.
  • Load Balancing: Proficiency in managing F5 Load Balancers for high availability and traffic distribution.
  • Network Automation: Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting using Python.
  • Routing & Switching: Strong understanding of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
  • Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or Wireshark for network monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Protocols & Standards: Solid grasp of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
  • Security Best Practices: Understanding of network security principles, threat mitigation, and compliance standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex network issues.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Cisco ACI DCACI or equivalent are preferred.
