Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile apps, web platform, backend systems, and machine learning-powered features. You will begin with manual testing of new and existing features, then gradually transition into automation testing as we expand our test coverage and capabilities.

You will have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and bug lifecycle. Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Postman, or similar is required.

  • Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing for mobile apps (iOS & Android), web apps, and backend APIs.
  • Test new ML-driven features for accuracy, performance, and user experience.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure smooth feature rollouts.
  • Reproduce and investigate reported issues, working with the dev team for resolutions.
  • Maintain test documentation and track quality metrics.
  • Gradually contribute to automation testing frameworks for web, mobile, and APIs.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of QA experience (manual testing across mobile, web, and backend)
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and bug lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Postman, or similar
  • Ability to write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and basic database queries is a plus
  • Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying edge cases
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
