We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our team in developing and executing compelling communication strategies for political, policy, and election campaigns.
As a General Manager, you will oversee digital advertising strategy and execution, using analytics to optimize performance and ROI. You will build and lead a team of creators to produce engaging content, including Shorts and long-form videos, and drive subscriber growth and viewership by optimizing videos for the YouTube algorithm.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing innovative electioneering campaigns and shaping governance through on-ground activities, data analytics, research, and new-age media.
- Collaborating effectively with internal teams, external agencies, and other stakeholders to achieve campaign goals.
- Staying ahead of YouTube trends and experimenting with new formats to engage audiences.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of Indian politics, history, socio-economic issues, and current affairs.
- 8-10 years of experience in communications, video production, or channel management, ideally in media (journalism, news reporting), a PR/communications agency, public affairs, or a political/advocacy setting.
- Expertise in YouTube, including the algorithm, content strategy, and SEO.
- Strong ability to craft compelling political narratives for video and manage video production workflows and creative teams.
