Senior Academic Leader

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in leading and managing the overall academic process, staff members under the guidance of senior management, and in line with the organization's philosophy, culture, values, and vision.

This position requires an individual who can integrate the plans of the institute with those of the university, ensuring the administration and efficient conduct of educational programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing necessary policies and procedures to ensure that the academic offerings of the faculty are relevant and of high quality.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Academic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement academic plans to enhance the quality and effectiveness of programs.
  • Establish and maintain a framework for assessing student learning outcomes.
  • Work closely with faculty and staff to ensure all academic goals are met.
  • Mentor students to participate in national/international education programs.
  • Ensure learning objectives align with industry requirements.
  • Research Programs:
  • Develop and implement research policies as per guidelines.
  • Establish processes and structures to facilitate high-quality research.
  • Initiate and promote ethically accountable research to increase research outcomes.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Evaluate and ensure policy and procedures comply with statutory guidelines.
  • Implement regulatory decisions and policies as issued by governing bodies.
  • Ensure all academic programs meet or maintain accreditation standards.
  • Other Responsibilities:
  • Promote the academic team's visibility in the field of academics.
  • Mentor and coach the academic team to prepare students for placement.
  • Interface with industry leaders to provide insights about the academic curriculum.
