Lead Data Center Cooling Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Center Cooling Systems Engineer to oversee the design and implementation of innovative cooling solutions for hyperscale data centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cooling System Design Leadership: Lead and optimize the design of cooling infrastructure for data centers, ensuring efficient performance, system reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Expertise in Selecting and Specifying Cooling Equipment, Components, and Materials: Select and specify cooling equipment, components, and materials, considering energy efficiency, scalability, and system integration.
  • Industry Standards Expertise: Possess awareness of industry standards including ASHRAE, ISHRAE, Carrier Handbooks, IS Standards, Eurovent, AHRI, SMACNA, and ASME.
Sustainability and Energy Efficiency Initiatives:
  • Develop Sustainable and Energy-Efficient Cooling Systems: Design and implement sustainable and energy-efficient cooling systems, focusing on minimizing energy consumption and the carbon footprint of data center operations.
  • Integration of Renewable Energy Solutions: Lead initiatives to integrate renewable energy solutions, waste heat recovery, or free cooling systems (e.g., using ambient air) into the data center cooling design.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Energy Systems, or a Related Field: Possess a relevant degree and qualification.
  • Minimum 6 Years of Experience in Cooling Systems Design and Engineering: Bring at least 6 years of experience in designing and engineering cooling systems for large-scale, hyperscale data centers or mission-critical facilities.
