This role requires knowledge of ASHRAE / ISHRAE standards for designing HVAC systems for high-rise residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.

  • Design heating and cooling systems
  • Calculate heating and cooling needs
  • Propose new products, technology, and design improvements with feasibility studies
  • Evaluate techno-commercial options
  • Propose energy-saving and environment-friendly designs
  • Calculate ventilation requirements
  • Determine budgetary costs for heating and cooling systems

The successful candidate will collaborate with architects and other discipline engineers to design heating and cooling systems. They will study architectural drawings, provide detailed input to junior engineers, and monitor drawing progress until the GFC stage.

This role involves preparing concept designs based on final architectural drawings, preparing documents for sanction purposes, attending design review meetings, and obtaining signoff on concept designs before proceeding to detail design.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 10+ years of experience or a master's degree in mechanical engineering with 7+ years of experience. They should have working knowledge of Revit software.
