Product Roadmap Execution Lead

As a Product Roadmap Execution Lead, you will be the key liaison between product management and engineering teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the execution of the product roadmap by translating strategy into actionable product backlog.

You will work closely with the development team to deliver high-quality, impactful features on time. This is a hands-on, execution-focused position where your skills in project management, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder communication will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and Maintain Product Backlog: Create, refine, and prioritize user stories and acceptance criteria based on the product roadmap and business value.
  • Act as Voice of Customer: Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide Clarification: Offer deeper understanding of user stories and business requirements to the development team.
  • Write Clear User Stories: Include acceptance criteria and dependencies to ensure engineers can build solutions with minimal ambiguity.
  • Review and Accept Completed Work: Ensure it meets the definition of done and original requirements before releasing it to QA or production.

Technical Expertise: Understand the technical implications of product decisions and work with the engineering team to manage technical debt and ensure sustainable development practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar roles within B2B SaaS environments.
  • Proven experience working directly with Agile development teams and managing product backlogs.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to translate complex product requirements into clear, actionable user stories.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with engineers, designers, and stakeholders.
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset to unblock teams and keep projects moving forward.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Asana, or Azure DevOps.

Bonus Points: Experience in Marketing Technology (MarTech), demand generation space, or certification in Scrum Product Ownership would be valuable assets.
