Instrumentation Engineer Position">

Job Description:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering is essential.">
  • Professional experience (4 to 10 Years) in design and specification on Oil & Gas projects with a strong focus on technical specifications.">
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of relevant codes and standards such as ISA, ASME, IEC, UL, CE, NEC, and ATEX are required.">
  • Evaluation of suppliers' offers and vendor documentation is a key responsibility.">
  • Understanding and reviewing technical specifications and drawings are crucial for success.">
  • Developing wiring, arrangement, layout diagrams, and Bill of Material for systems is a significant aspect of the role.">
  • Selection and sizing of instruments such as analyzers, solenoid valves, limit, pressure & level switches, pressure transmitters, and flow instruments are essential skills.">
  • Cable level segregation, conduit, and cable tray selection and sizing are also critical responsibilities.">
  • Selection and sizing of appropriate Power and Control cables and junction boxes for hazardous zones and non-hazardous zones are key requirements.">
  • Developing a comprehensive system by interacting with interdisciplinary interfaces such as Mechanical, Controls, Sourcing, and Installation & Field Services teams is essential.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical specifications and design skills are must-haves.">
  • Proficiency with at least one of the tools - AutoCAD, SPI, COMOS, Bentley Microstation, Navisworks - will be an added advantage.">
  • Calculations skills using CONVAL and INSTRUCALC are also desirable.">
