Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process issuance of debit notes from corporate to all intercompany entities.
  • Account for all debit and credit notes received from corporate and other intercompany entities after thorough review and adherence to established processes.
  • Ensure accurate intercompany account reconciliations and balance confirmations with all other intercompany entities as part of the monthly process.
  • Manage vendor card creation and update details as required, adhering to set procedures.
  • Collaborate with GL Coordinators of respective entities for any clarification or support needed.
  • Coordinate and follow up with approvers to secure approval prior to posting any GL entries.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge in General Ledger (GL) and reconciliation of GL balances versus sub-ledgers.
  • Download various reports from the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system during the month-end process.
  • Prepare and review MIS Reports, Revenue Flash Reports, and Monthly Reports.
  • Perform GL balance reconciliations versus sub-ledgers.
  • Develop and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and ensure completeness of financial records.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify and investigate any discrepancies or anomalies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with basic accounting standards and principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically Navision-Microsoft Dynamics and D-365.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with ability to coordinate effectively with foreign entities and associates via email or phone calls.
  • Exposure to medium to large outsourcing companies, preferably with 5-6 years of experience.
  • Relevant academic qualifications, such as B Com, M Com, ICWA, or CA Foundation.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evening shifts if required.
