
Portfolio Business Development Specialist

Key Role:
We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Relationship Manager to join our team at Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for understanding clients' business needs and providing tailored working capital solutions across various products.
Main Responsibilities:
- To comprehend clients' business models, trade-related activities, and cash flows to identify opportunities and grow client relationships.
- To establish and maintain high-quality relationships with key decision-makers in the target segments, focusing on continually increasing book size and profitability.
- To develop and execute strategies to penetrate clients with various products, including Current Accounts, Term Deposits, Transaction Banking, and Trade Finance.
- To manage risk, delinquency, and ensure correct sourcing of clients while maintaining high standards of hygiene parameters.
- To work closely with external partners, such as DSAs, CAs, and associations, to build sustainable direct sourcing channels for new customer acquisition.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales and credit knowledge, preferably in the local market.
- Strong influencing skills, ability to get customers to buy into asset propositions.
- Good relationship management skills and job knowledge.
