Procurement and Vendor Management Expert

The Procurement and Vendor Management Expert will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing vendors for materials, components, and services required in the Electric Vehicle industry.

The role ensures timely availability of quality parts such as EV batteries, motors, controllers, chargers, chassis components, and accessories, at competitive costs, while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Strategy
    • Develop and implement a procurement strategy to meet production schedules and service requirements.
    • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for EV components and raw materials.
    • Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.
  • Vendor Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers.
    • Monitor vendor performance (quality, delivery timelines, compliance).
    • Conduct regular audits of vendor facilities as per company standards.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination
    • Work closely with production, R&D, and service teams to forecast material requirements.
    • Maintain optimum stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
    • Coordinate logistics for timely deliveries from domestic and international suppliers.
  • Compliance and Documentation
    • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and maintain accurate procurement records.
    • Handle import/export documentation for EV parts and equipment.
  • Cost and Quality Optimization
    • Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Work with Quality Assurance to ensure procured items meet specifications.
    • Contribute to localization of components to reduce costs and import dependency.
