Job Opportunity for Junior Chef

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Chef to join our kitchen team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Chef to develop their skills in food preparation, cooking and presentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes with authenticity and consistency, managing mise-en-place and daily food preparation, ensuring portion control, plating standards and hygiene compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes of assigned cuisine (South Indian/Chinese/Mughlai/Awadhi) with authenticity and consistency.

  • Manage mise-en-place and daily food preparation.

  • Ensure portion control, plating standards and hygiene compliance.

  • Train and supervise junior chefs in techniques, recipes and kitchen safety.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment.

  • Knowledge of different cuisines and cooking techniques.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
