Job Description:

We are looking for a talented individual who can architect and develop a platform for financial data. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in big data systems and experience working with finance and accounting teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the platform's technical structure, managing individual project priorities and deadlines, mentoring and training junior engineers, and collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn our vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Software Engineering Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Big Data Systems: 2+ years of experience in architecting big data systems around technologies like Apache Spark and Hive
  • Finance and Accounting Team Collaboration: Experience working with finance and accounting teams
  • Leadership Experience: Experience in uplevelling junior engineers via processes and setting a high bar for them to follow
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What You'll Do:

  1. Architect and develop a platform for financial data

  2. Design and implement the platform's technical structure

  3. Manage individual project priorities and deadlines

  4. Mentor and train junior engineers

  5. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers

Nice to Have:

  • Additional Technologies: Experience with Golang, gRPC, Docker, SnowFlake, Databricks, and advance SQL
  • Integration Experience: Experience working with NetSuite APIs, Kyriba integration, and fintech domain
