About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data organization, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data architectures that drive business value.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for working closely with the product management group, internal stakeholders, and the engineering group to create data architectures and logical/physical data models for databases and data warehouses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-level data models, ensuring they are scalable, flexible, and performant.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehousing solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into conceptual, logical, and physical data models using industry standards.
  • Manage data models for multiple projects, ensuring consistency and adherence to enterprise architecture principles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering; or Master's degree in Computer or Software Engineering with 10 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated strength in examining issues, driving resolution, and influencing effectively across the organization.
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders.
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience with data modeling, cloud architecture, and cloud-based databases.
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with Cloud Architecture (Azure, GCP, AWS) & cloud-based databases (Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift).
Desirable Qualifications
  • Conversant with Data & Analytics product management, Azure, SQL, Data Catalog.
  • Experience with unstructured data processing and real-time data pipelines.
