Technical Expertise:
  • Perform thorough reviews of architectural drawings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and resolve design or coordination issues in MEP systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external engineers to prevent technical clashes.

Compliance and Permit Liaison:
  • Own permit application strategy, maintain communication with regulatory authorities.
  • Interpret and enforce local/national building codes, fire regulations, and municipal by-laws.
  • Lead submission of compliance documents and manage responses to authority queries.

Team Management:
  • Mentor architects, drafters, and interns to ensure well-coordinated technical outputs.
  • Uphold high-quality standards for documentation and design integrity.
  • Develop quality control protocols for architectural coordination.

Requirements:

  • Accredited degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience leading commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Deep experience preparing statutory documents.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated experience with MEP drawing review, coordination, and quality assurance.
