**Job Summary:**

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a highly experienced Legal Counsel to join our India legal compliance team. This role will be responsible for providing legal and compliance support to the company's commercial leaders, managing litigation and disputes, and developing robust compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, execute, and enforce contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and business objectives.
  • Litigation and Dispute Management: Oversee and manage litigation, disputes, and regulatory investigations involving the company's medical device products or operations.
  • Risk Management: Assess, mitigate, and monitor legal and regulatory risks associated with medical devices, including product liability, intellectual property, labeling, and advertising standards.
  • Compliance Programs Advancement and Training: Develop and implement robust compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to local and global medical device laws and code of conduct.
Essential Requirements:
  • Over 12 years of relevant experience in the legal and compliance space, particularly within the medical device industry.
  • Strong understanding of the complex regulatory landscape in India, the medical device industry, and global compliance standards.
  • Experience from working both in the private practice and as in-house counsel in a dynamic environment of transactional engagements and corporate governance.
