About the Role:

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to lead daily business operations from process optimization to team management and strategic planning.

The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in operations, accompanied by an MBA qualification.

This role is pivotal for ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of operational systems, leading a high-performing team, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Management & Improvement:

  • Analyze existing operational procedures, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with standards and legal regulations.
  • Utilize lean management principles and other process optimization techniques to streamline workflows and minimize waste.

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of operations professionals to achieve departmental goals and targets.
  • Manage staffing, training, and performance evaluation to ensure the team is skilled and aligned with business objectives.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Financial & Resource Management:

  • Oversee operational budgets, forecast expenditures, and allocate resources effectively to meet strategic goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed reports for senior management, providing actionable insights.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of long-term operational strategies that align with the company's vision and market demands.
  • Anticipate and identify potential operational risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments, including Sales, Finance, and HR, to ensure seamless communication and execution of company-wide initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is mandatory.
  • 3-6 years of proven experience in an operations management role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools (e.g. Excel, ERP systems).
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
