Job Title: Operations Management Specialist

Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure seamless coordination between distribution centers in the US and support functions in India. This includes managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing leadership and guidance to the back-office team, and overseeing daily warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Streamline and organize information for location managers to ensure clarity and accessibility.
  • Review and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping schedules, inventory updates, and returns.
  • Track and monitor day-to-day performance metrics for distribution centers.
  • Identify and address performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of back-office support functions.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the back-office team and have accountability for their day-to-day performance.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams.
  • Handle confidential information with utmost discretion and integrity.
  • E nsure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations.
  • Work closely with the manager to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy and timeliness in documentation across all operational support functions.
  • Provide operational oversight and coordination for daily warehouse functions.
  • Address escalations from Distribution Centres and support smooth resolution of issues.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in operations support, Supply Chain, or a related field data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Warehouse Management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of SOPs and process improvement methodologies.
  • An assertive and proactive approach to work.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NAV) is desirable.
