Job Title:Civil Design Professional

The organization is seeking a skilled Civil Design Professional to create 2D & 3D drawings for new and retrofit designs at various facilities. This individual will be part of a high-performance group focusing on emerging power plant-based reciprocating engine technology adopted across the U.S. and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various civil design at power generation facilities using Autodesk AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, and OpenRoad Designer.
  • Provide drawing production work including site plans, grading plans, paving plans, improvement plans for roads and rails, stormwater drainage details, erosion control plans, and other civil plans/details.
  • Use supporting software like Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Office 365, and Google Earth Pro.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of CAD standards and best practices.
  • Learn and apply company, client, and project drafting standards and procedures.
  • Apply formulas, principles, and practices to complete required drawings.
  • Coordinate drafting activities with other designers, drafters, and design disciplines.
  • Communicate with internal design resources.
  • Execute design changes and project drawing revisions.
  • Maintain CAD proficiency and work toward mastering current CAD systems.
  • Travel to support assignments on projects and office needs.
