Senior Tax Manager Opportunity

We seek a seasoned financial professional to lead tax operations for our group entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage TDS, Advance Income Tax & STT payments
  • Verify reports prepared by the team and authorize payments
  • Ensure accuracy of statutory compliance through timely collation of financial data
  • Validate TDS, Service Tax & STT returns for filing
  • Evaluate the accuracy of statutory certificates (Form 16A)
  • Coordinate STT return filings as per regulations
  • Promote income computation reports and engage with auditors/consultants
  • Address auditor queries and respond to tax authority inquiries
  • Support scrutiny cases and attend hearings where necessary
  • Collaborate with consultants on appeals at Tribunal/High Court/Supreme Court levels
  • Authorize statutory fees and ensure documentation of cases
  • Review and validate regulatory submissions
  • Determine STT applicability on new securities
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong taxation laws knowledge and accounting standards
  • Proven experience in financial services with Capital Market exposure
  • Effective stakeholder management (regulators, consultants, internal teams)
  • Leadership skills to build and manage high-performing teams
  • Process-driven problem-solving mindset with execution focus
  • Innovative approach to drive continuous improvements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • CA / MBA (Finance) with 8–12 years of relevant experience
  • Desired: LLB or additional qualifications in Capital Markets
