Job Title:

Reliability Engineering Leader

We are seeking an experienced reliability engineering professional to lead the development and execution of end-to-end product reliability strategies for electrolyzer systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product reliability, systems engineering, or product development, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional reliability programs for complex electro-mechanical products.

  • This role requires a deep understanding of reliability engineering tools and methodologies, as well as the ability to bridge engineering and operational teams to drive measurable product improvements.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading product reliability strategies across design, testing, manufacturing, and field performance.
  • They will collaborate with design engineering, R&D, and systems engineering to embed reliability into early design stages, and partner with operations and quality teams to monitor manufacturing consistency and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • The Reliability Engineering Leader will also work closely with field service and customer success to collect and analyze real-world performance data, own and drive reliability testing programs, including accelerated life testing and statistical reliability validation.
  • In addition, they will lead root cause analysis on field and test failures and ensure closed-loop learning feeds back into future designs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience in product reliability, systems engineering, or product development, ideally with automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional reliability programs for complex electro-mechanical products.
  • Deep knowledge of reliability engineering tools and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to bridge engineering and operational teams to drive measurable product improvements.
  • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency with reliability modeling tools and statistical software.
