Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marine Technician to conduct complete overhauls, troubleshooting, and maintenance of marine engines, generators, and auxiliary machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute complete overhauls of marine engines and generators. Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in engines, generators, and auxiliary machinery. Perform preventative maintenance and corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Identify and order necessary spare parts for marine equipment. Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory and usage.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all auxiliary machinery, including pumps, compressors, and related equipment. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on auxiliary systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems onboard vessels.
  • Understand the principles of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Conduct maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic components.
  • Participate in the installation and commissioning of new engines and generators.
  • Maintain and repair marine steering systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry best practices. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, inboard and outboard marine engines, and propulsion systems.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience working with multiple engine brands and marine power systems.
  • Proven expertise in marine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and auxiliary marine equipment.
  • Relevant marine certifications (STCW, OEM certifications, or Class Society-approved training) are highly preferred.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and spare part catalogs.
  • Proficiency in English with the ability to communicate effectively.
