Marine Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Marine Integrity Lead Engineer to join our team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for leading marine assurance activities, including:

  • Inspections of mooring and turret systems using Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs)
  • Operational risk assessments
  • Marine equipment assurance activities – Workflows & Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Engagement with Classification Societies and Business Units

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing structural inspection work scopes in accordance with Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodology and classification regulatory requirements across multiple assets.
  • Identifying hazards from site inspections and classification survey reports and performing risk assessments.
  • Supporting planning of Health checks and execution activities such as criticality analysis, monitoring plans, RBI plans & Inspection work pack updates/developments, summary documentation for regulatory engagement etc.
  • Supporting marine reliability, integrity, root cause failure analysis, marine maintenance strategies, and other optimisation initiatives.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture/Ocean Engineering/Offshore Engineering/Marine Engineering with 10-15 years of experience in in-service or in ship hull survey and inspection related activities.
  • Design & Operation knowledge of Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO), Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO), Spar Platforms (SPARs), Tension Leg Platforms (TLPs), CALM Buoy systems.
  • Familiarity with marine system design, installation, and operations.
