Job Overview:

As a senior marine engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of floating assets. This includes performing risk-based inspections, developing inspection work scopes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement reliability and maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimize damage to hulls and mooring systems.
  • Develop and maintain advanced integrity management dashboards to track asset health and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify knowledge gaps and provide training to team members on marine engineering principles and practices.
  • Work closely with customers to provide cost-effective solutions and ensure quality of work meets their technical requirements.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets, as well as resolve conflicts and escalations in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in in-service or ship hull survey and inspection activities.
  • Design and operation knowledge of FPSOs, FSOs, SPARs, TLPs, and CALMBUOYS.
  • Familiarity with marine system design, installation, and operations.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
