Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Provide quality service to customers by responding to their requests promptly and efficiently during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
  • Account Management: Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts, ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis.
  • Security and Confidentiality: Maintain strict security procedures with credit and cash accounting, and issue room keys while ensuring guest confidentiality.
  • Switchboard Operations: Operate the switchboard effectively, handling all calls promptly and professionally, greeting all callers, and transferring calls to relevant departments or guest rooms.
  • Message Handling: Document all internal and guest messages accurately and distribute them according to specified hotel procedures.
  • Reservations: Assist with calls for reservations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is given.
  • Sales and Promotion: Use every opportunity to promote hotel facilities and maximize sales through sound product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Room Inventory: Control room inventory and assign rooms according to guest needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Ensure thorough product knowledge of the hotel and its services.
  • Luggage Handling: Accept and monitor luggage for safekeeping or storage in the office according to established procedures.
  • Guest Assistance: Transfer luggage to and from guest rooms, parking areas, and assist guests as necessary in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide courteous and competent service to guests.

Qualifications:

BHM degree and 2 years of experience as a Guest Service Associate.

Work Arrangements:

Full-time employment, no remote work.
