Senior Analytics Developer for Financial Crime Prevention

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Developer to join our team in developing and supporting advanced analytics solutions for financial crime prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy SAS-based analytic solutions to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics solutions with existing systems and processes.
- Develop and maintain robust data integration flows using SAS Data Integration Studio and SAS Enterprise Guide.
- Manage and optimize SAS Cubes and Reports for efficient data summarization and visualization.
- Conduct peer reviews and perform quality checks to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Handle change requests and issue tracking using JIRA, maintaining clear documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Set up and manage batch jobs, establishing dependencies and scheduling as required.
- Perform regular environment cleanups, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Contribute to the architecture design of SAS solutions, focusing on scalability and robustness.
- Implement and manage security measures in line with organizational standards and compliance requirements.
- Enhance system performance through careful analysis and optimization techniques.
- Provide support during implementations and upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
- Monitor SAS environments and solutions, proactively addressing potential issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in SAS 9.4_M3, SAS Data Integration Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, and other relevant SAS technologies.
- Proven track record in developing analytics solutions in the payments and financial crime domain.
- Strong understanding of batch job scheduling, dependencies, and environment management.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management tools.
- Experience with architecture, security, and performance tuning of SAS applications.
- Ability to write and maintain advanced SAS scripts and macros.
