Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications that meet business needs.

As a skilled Mendix developer, you will work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable low-code solutions.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into functional applications, designing and implementing scalable and maintainable Mendix applications using best practices and Mendix frameworks, integrating Mendix apps with external systems, APIs, and legacy platforms, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to team planning, estimation, and retrospectives, assisting in the migration of existing systems to Mendix-based solutions, conducting code reviews, providing mentorship, and following SDLC best practices, and documenting application features, architecture, and deployment procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Mendix Developer or in a similar low-code development role.

- Strong command of the Mendix platform, including UI design, microflows, domain modelling, and security configuration.

- Good knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.

- Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and integrations.

- Experience in mobile application development using Mendix is a plus.

- Mendix Certification (Rapid, Intermediate/Advanced, or Expert) is required.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.

- Knowledge and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
