Lead Quality Assurance Expert Wanted

We are looking for a skilled professional to spearhead our software development practices. Our team operates remotely and asynchronously, following modern methods.

About the Role
  • This is a leadership position that requires defining quality standards and best practices for the QA team.
  • The successful candidate will design and implement test automation strategies for regression and performance testing.
  • Maintaining QA processes across Web (React), Mobile (Flutter), Backend (Elixir/NodeJS), and Infrastructure (Kubernetes) is crucial for this role.
  • Collaboration with product and development teams to integrate quality into every stage of development is essential.
Requirements
  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and BrowserStack is necessary.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript are required.
  • Experience testing Web (React), Mobile (Flutter), and Backend (Elixir/NodeJS) is necessary.
  • Performance testing experience using JMeter, K6, or similar tools is required.
  • Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, API testing, and database testing is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally are required.
  • Experience working in startups and remote teams is preferred.
Bonus Points For
  • Infrastructure testing experience using Kubernetes and Docker is beneficial.
  • Mobile automation testing expertise is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools is desirable.
  • Load and stress testing experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is useful.
  • Experience with test management tools is beneficial.
  • Understanding of security testing practices is an advantage.
  • Database knowledge, particularly PostgreSQL and MongoDB, is desired.
  • Cloud platform experience is an asset.
