Job Role Overview

Actively influences the identification of continuous improvement opportunities and manages ad-hoc projects initiated by Controllership leadership. Assists with drafting desktop procedures, training as part of transition efforts in first 6-12 months.

Recruiting, hiring, and retaining strong local team members is crucial for the success of this role. Identifies and manages training and upskilling of local team members. Holds self and others to timelines, quality, and accuracy.

Risk management is a critical aspect of this role. Articulates material risks and opportunities and takes an active role in designing and executing response or contingency plans.

Key Requirements:

  • Exceptional expertise in record-to-report accounting processes
  • Deep understanding of the business landscape, market trends, and industry dynamics
  • Outstanding ability to forge strong partnerships across the organization to provide insights and guidance to cross-functional teams
  • Open communication and cooperation to ensure R2R activities are executed seamlessly
  • Successful candidates will possess excellent leadership skills, inspiring and motivating team members to deliver exceptional results.
  • CA/CMA Qualified with 10 years of experience is required, with 3-5 years in accounting leadership roles.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Core R2R controllership experience for large organisations
  2. Leading transitions and transformations, innovations
  3. Digital finance experience
  4. Should have managed senior stakeholders in US Europe
  5. CA or CPA
  6. Excellent communication skills
