Information Security Analyst

• Analyzing security threats to protect data and systems.

We're seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies, procedures, and controls. Your goal will be to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems and data.

You will support the execution of Information Security and privacy inherent to new engagements, identify technological opportunities, and evaluate the Information Security and privacy impacts on end points. Additionally, you will prevent/deter theft and fraud through physical presence and engagement.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Participate with the design, implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of privacy policies, procedures, and controls.
• Support the execution of Information Security and privacy inherent to new engagements for Infra.
• Identify technological opportunities and evaluate the Information Security and privacy impacts on the end Points.
• Prevents/deters theft and fraud through physical presence and engagement.
• Bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Support the security team by carrying out day-to-day operational tasks utilizing specialized applications, tools, and platforms.
• Managing the security operations centre. Manage confidential files, perform audits, conduct network and patch vulnerability assessments and ensure 100% compliance.
• Necessitates knowledge of EDR tools like Trend Micro, AV, Symantec.
• Provide on-call 24X7 support, as needed.
• Stay abreast of the latest information security controls, practices, techniques, and capabilities in the marketplace, as well as evolving threats.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments across all digital platforms.
• Perform functional tests of new security tools, provide test results and feedback to internal teams and vendors.
• Directs emergency response personnel to area of incident.
• Analyse security data to identify trends and recommend proactive measures.
• Perform cross-functional activities such as data collection, analysis, development of custom reports and slide decks, as well as process improvement.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team to maintain system security.

The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in IT Security – Data Loss Prevention. They must possess strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of information security principles and technologies.

The following are the required skills:

• Infrastructure administration and management
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word and report writing.
• Ability to learn and understand fire and security systems, including EAS Systems.
• Knowledge of Symantec Control Compliance Suite is preferred.
• Understanding of third-party risk management considerations, incident response, and crisis management processes.
• Can demonstrate knowledge of product locations and possesses the ability to precisely direct customers based upon that knowledge.
• Knowledge of incident response and crisis management processes.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
• Credentialed or trained in cyber and privacy (e.g., CISSP) preferred.
• Credentialed or trained in CCNA, routing and switching, security.
• Good understanding of Cloud Security Platform, e.g., AWS, Azure.
• Management of Multiple OEM's & Vendors in large complex environments.
