Job Description

 

As a seasoned Identity Security Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our digital assets by designing and implementing robust identity management solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain identity platforms, including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, to ensure seamless user access and experience.
  • Implement and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies across systems to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • Monitor and report on identity-related activities, access patterns, and anomalies to identify potential security threats.
  • Collaborate with security architects to design and improve identity infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Support audits and compliance efforts by providing identity-related evidence and reports to demonstrate our commitment to security excellence.
  • Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes and access provisioning/deprovisioning to ensure smooth employee transitions.
  • Identify and remediate identity security risks and misconfigurations to minimize vulnerabilities and protect our digital assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID, including configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of identity reporting and analytics, including access logs and entitlement reviews, to inform security decisions.
  • Knowledge of identity architecture, protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), and lifecycle management to ensure comprehensive identity management.
  • Understanding of managing RBAC models to balance user access and security requirements.
  • Knowledge of identity security principles, including least privilege and zero trust, to maintain a secure digital environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Azure IAM features, such as Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management, to enhance identity management capabilities.
  • Exposure to AWS IAM and cloud identity integrations to leverage multi-cloud identity solutions.
  • Scripting or automation skills, such as PowerShell or Python, to streamline identity management tasks.
