We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Leader to spearhead the development of our SaaS platform in Coimbatore, India. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining the engineering DNA of our India hub, building and mentoring a high-performing team, and solving real global-scale SaaS problems using modern architectures and AI-driven innovation.

About the Role

This is a leadership role with startup-level ownership, where you will have the freedom to shape culture as much as code. You will be responsible for:

  • Team Growth & Technical Strategy: Build and lead a high-performing engineering team in Coimbatore, drive technical strategy aligned with our business vision.">
  • Product Delivery & Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth day-to-day dev operations, unblock teams and ship impactful features with speed and quality.">
  • Code Quality & Architecture: Champion clean code, scalable architecture, and engineering standards, tackle challenges around microservices, APIs, mobile scale, and automation.">
  • Agile Ways of Working: Embed best practices (Scrum, sprints, retros, stand-ups), keep the team aligned, accountable, and always delivering value.">
  • Mentorship & Career Growth: Coach engineers into leaders, build a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and innovation.">
  • Innovation & Experimentation: Explore emerging tech—AI/ML, automation, integrations, next-gen SaaS tooling, drive pilots and bring practical applications into production.">
  • Community Engagement: Represent us in the local tech ecosystem, host meetups, hackathons, and open-source projects that put Coimbatore on the global SaaS map.">

Your Background

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • 8+ years of SaaS product engineering experience, with 3+ years in leadership roles.">
  • A startup-ready mindset: resourceful, adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity.">
  • Proven experience scaling teams, delivering complex projects, and mentoring diverse talent.">
  • Deep knowledge of modern architectures, cloud-native design (AWS), APIs, microservices, automation.">
  • Strong practitioner of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).">
  • Curiosity and working knowledge in AI/ML tools and automation—and eagerness to apply them.">
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams.">
