Job Title: Network Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Specialist to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot network-related issues, and ensure seamless operations of IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating System Support: Ensure that all operating systems are properly configured and functioning as expected.
  • Hardware Support: Troubleshoot and repair hardware devices such as computers, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Software Support: Provide assistance with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Network Support: Monitor and maintain the health of the network, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Security Management: Implement and enforce security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
  • Active Directory Administration: Manage user accounts, group policies, and password resets.
  • Remote Support: Provide technical support remotely using various tools and technologies.
  • Asset Management: Track and manage company assets, including hardware and software.
Technical Skills:
  • Basic OS Installation and Configuration: Install and configure operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
  • PC/Laptop Hardware Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair PC and laptop hardware issues.
  • Microsoft Outlook Setup and Support: Assist with Microsoft Outlook setup and troubleshooting.
  • Basic Active Directory (User/Group Management, Password Resets): Manage user accounts, group policies, and password resets.
  • Printer and Peripheral Setup: Install and configure printers and other peripherals.
  • Basic Networking (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN): Understand IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN concepts.
  • Antivirus and Endpoint Security Management: Implement and manage antivirus software and endpoint security solutions.
  • Exposure to SCCM, BSOD Troubleshooting (Basic Level): Familiarity with SCCM and basic level BSOD troubleshooting.
  • BitLocker Encryption and Recovery: Understand BitLocker encryption and recovery processes.
