US Accounting Operations Manager

This role entails managing all facets of U.S. accounting operations from end-to-end, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion of tasks.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Review and process weekly timesheets & client invoices to guarantee accuracy and punctuality.
- Submit payroll/accounting data in a timely manner to maintain compliance.
- Generate regular & ad-hoc reports in QuickBooks to provide valuable insights.
- Manage and reconcile AP/AR accounts to prevent discrepancies.
- Assist with GL entries, reconciliations, and month-end close to ensure financial stability.
- Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards.
- Track/manage PO expirations & related documentation to prevent overspending.
- Maintain master data for employees, customers, and vendors to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Liaise with state agencies for payroll, unemployment, and tax matters to comply with regulations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in U.S. accounting/bookkeeping (staffing/consulting preferred).
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles.
- Experience in payroll, AP/AR, and expense management.
- QuickBooks proficiency is mandatory.
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and reconciliations.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential.
