System Administrator

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our server infrastructure. This includes configuring and maintaining servers, operating systems, firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices.

  • Configure and manage server hardware, software, and virtual machines.
  • Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access, including firewall rules, access controls, and encryption.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system resources to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve problems, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and implement scripts, tools, and automation processes to streamline system administration tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve system administration skills and knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of server operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Unix.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of database management systems, including relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
