Job Title: Virtual Infrastructure System Administrator
At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Infrastructure System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, and other computer systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Server Management

We are looking for an individual who can install, configure, and maintain servers to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes ensuring that all software and firmware are up-to-date and that systems are properly backed up.

System Monitoring and Analysis

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring system performance to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. This includes analyzing system logs and network traffic to troubleshoot issues and prevent downtime.

Security and Compliance

You will be responsible for maintaining security systems, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems, to protect our infrastructure from unauthorized access and malware. Additionally, you will ensure that licenses are in compliance and that all software is up-to-date.

User Support and Account Management

As part of our team, you will provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems. You will also manage user accounts and access rights to systems and data, ensuring that sensitive information is protected.

Collaboration and Communication

We are looking for an individual who can collaborate with other IT staff and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of systems and services. You will need to communicate effectively with colleagues and management to resolve issues and implement new technologies.


Requirements:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V
    • Experience with operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux
    • Knowledge of network protocols and architecture

    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
